SOME quality acts this weekend on June 5. The excellent live band First Chapter are at North Walsham Community Centre; a four piece with all musos playing as a team their sets are well mixed, and they are well deserving of their many good club reports.

At the Acorn Club, Hemsby, on June 6, is a trio named Desperado with lead guitarist Mac Baily, a rock/country muso from Wolverhamton. This is a unique style of the 1960s that you love or dislike - personally these are one of my favourites that do not play our area enough.

Back to Saturday and at the Stallion in Norwich will be 4 Card Trick who adjust their name according to the number of musos on stage.

A quick look at further dates, Speed Limit on June 10, at Norwich Ghost Riders and Ollie Auston Lowestoft on June 11. Also on June 11, at Hals Honky Tonk there is Dave Paisly.

Felmingham village hall has Jonney Marks, and Daren Busby is at Apollo on June 13.
