FLYING VISIT: Acclaimed stage and screen actor Desmond Barrit took time out from his busy schedule to make a flying visit to Gorleston.
The accountant turned actor, whose roles span panto dames to serious Shakespeare, travelled from London especially to take two workshops with the original Dusmagrik Young People’s Theatre Company at the Methodist Church Hall.
While there he watched a scene from their forthcoming production of Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr to be performed at the Pavilion Theatre in April and helped several of the cast to develop their roles and improve voice projection.
