EVERYONE is invited to a live charity concert which will be raising money for Help for Heroes on Monday, March 29.The concert will feature bands like the Sky High Showband and the Re-Union Band, as well as musicians from UK Beach Boys, Skiffle It and other special guests.

The concert will feature bands like the Sky High Showband and the Re-Union Band, as well as musicians from UK Beach Boys, Skiffle It and other special guests. It will be taking place from 8pm onwards at the Kingfisher Bar on Butt Lane, Burgh Castle, with Stevie P acting as compere.

Canine Feline's new guitarist makes his local debut for the band at the Tramways, Gorleston on Saturday from 9pm. It will be an evening of mixed music genres as they will be supported by metal band Silver Strand and there will also be a sneak preview of lead singer Becs' duo with Ross Stephens. Canine Feline are a female fronted rock originals band, the members are Rebecca Nudd (vocals), Ashley Holmes (guitar), Arron Clark (bass) and Carl Blackett (drums). A Ska, Two Tone and punk disco will be held tonight at the Green Gate Inn in Caister at 8pm. There will be a retro disco playing only old vinyl ska, Two tone and punk records from the 60's, 70's and 80's.

The James Paget University Hospital Respiratory Ceilidh 2010 will be held on May 8 at the Wherry Hotel, Oulton Broad. Dancing will be to the lively Skip Hire band and funds raised will be used to buy items for the respiratory ward and to finance study days and courses for nurses on the ward.
