GORLESTON Theatre Company is looking for new members.

Chairman Mike Coleman appealed: “If you would like to be part of our company in anyway whether on or off stage, we would love you to join.”

As a company the group aims to put on three productions a year and make these as varied as possible; in the last year they have put on the musical Happy As A Sandbag, the pantomime Ali Baba and His Forty Thieves and have just completed the highly-acclaimed Rent, at Gorleston Pavilion.

All three productions received great reviews and positive audience feedback and Mike said: “The success of these shows is down to all those involved and everyone plays their part in making them the great productions they were.”

Already there is a play planned for October, A Murder has been Announced and a pantomime for 2011, and the company also plans a musical in the spring of 2011.

Mike added: “There are so many ways people could be involved, on and off stage, from flyer design and distributing, set design and building to getting on the stage to perform. If there is any skill you can bring, or something you would just like to try you will be welcome. If you can only commit to one production that is fine, although we have found in the past that people like to return for more. It's a great way to socialise, enjoy yourself and discover things you can do that you never thought you could.”
