THEATRE company Dusmagrik has been in rehearsal since January for the forthcoming production of Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jnr.

Based on Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, and its sequel, Alice Through the Looking Glass, this Disney musical has been updated from the original 1951 film and includes such numbers as Painting the Roses Red, I’m Late and The Unbirthday Song.

It tells the story of Alice who is daydreaming in the park. A white rabbit suddenly runs by, disappears down a rabbit hole and Alice decides to follow.

On her journey she meets the people she saw in the park but who are now changed into the characters she is destined to meet in Wonderland including the Mad Hatter, the bubble blowing caterpillar, Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee and the nasty Queen of Hearts.
