Among stories passed down through generations are the one about the lost fishing fleet, the grey lady and the highwayman in the Lilypit.

The tour starts at the Star Hotel Hall Quay and lasts around two and a half hours. Adults £6.50, children aged seven to 16, £3.50. Price includes entry to the Potteries. Booking is essential via 01493 846346. Not suitable for under sevens.

Tours are every Thursday at 7pm throughout June and July and on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout August.
