THE next guided heritage walk is on Sunday June 5 at 2pm. Meet at St Nicholas’ Church gates and discover who built England’s second most complete Medieval town wall here in Great Yarmouth, why the town needed it and all about the historic maritime town that formed inside it.

AN Extend gentle exercise for the over 60’s and less able people of all ages will be held in the Northgate area of Great Yarmouth on June 3. Cost is �3 per session.

AN information event for carers will be held in June to coincide with Carers Week.

To celebrate Carers Week this year, MESH, which represents Magdalen, Elmhurst Court and Shrublands estates, will be hosting a Carers Event at the Shrublands Youth and Adult Centre in Gorleston on June 17 from 10am to 12.30pm.

TICKETS are now on sale for Great Yarmouth Choral Society’s next concert on June 18 in St Nicholas Parish Church. The programme consists of Mozart’s 40th symphony in G minor, The Requium and Regina Coeli and celebrates the 50th anniversary of the re-consecration of St Nicholas Church as well as the composer. FREE Women Only Workshops (WOW) are being offered to women with little or no educational qualifications. The aim is to improve confidence and identify personal goals and includes a contribution towards travel and childcare. The WOW Factor is in Yarmouth on June 26 and July 6 from 10am to 2.30pm.
