LOCAL ornithologist, Richard Kemp, is leading a dawn chorus walk at Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden, on Saturday, April 4. Some 95 species of bird have been recorded in the garden.

LOCAL ornithologist, Richard Kemp, is leading a dawn chorus walk at Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden, on Saturday, April 4. Some 95 species of bird have been recorded in the garden. Woodland birds include green, greater spotted and lesser spotted woodpeckers, tree creepers and nuthatch. Coot, mallard, reed buntings and reed warblers, Canada geese, Egyptian geese and greater crested grebe all frequent the broads.

The walk begins 6am and includes a boat trip on South Walsham Inner and Outer Broads and ends with breakfast in the tearoom at 9am. Tickets, �18, should be pre-booked on 01603 270449/270683.
