GORLESTON Rangers’ annual Christmas raffle is taking place on Sunday at the Kevill Arms in Church Road, Gorleston. The draw will start at 8pm. Club supporters, parents, friends and associates are welcome.

DREAM, Perform Achieve, based at Gorleston’s Longs Industrial Estate, is holding its Christmas Fayre on Sunday at Cliff Park High School from 12-4pm. The event features singing from the students of DPA, with Christmas carols, raffle, cake stall, bottle tombola, games, arts and crafts from Jankie D’s, face-painting and you can also buy your reindeer food ready for Christmas Eve.

CAISTER Lifeboat visitor centre, shop and station will be open Sunday from 10-1.30pm. Admission is �2, children free, with coffee and a souvenir brochure.

Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden at South Walsham is hosting a guided walk on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day at 11am with head gardener Ian Guest. The garden is open daily all year, 10am to 5pm (closed Christmas Day), admission is adults �5, concessions �4.50, children �2.50 (under 5s free). There is a tearoom, gift shop and plant sales. There is wheelchair access to most of the garden, including a sensory garden. Visitors requiring special facilities are advised to telephone in advance; mobility scooters are available. Dogs are welcome on leads – there is a small charge for a poop scoop.
