A guaranteed day of fun is in order as it is time for the annual Hopton Fete.
With over 40 stalls and entertainment, the 11th Hopton Fete promises to be fun for the whole family.
The mayor of Great Yarmouth will be officially opening the fete on Sunday, August 20 at the Recreation Ground.
There will be a fancy dress competition, the dress code is to come as something or someone beginning with the initial of your name.
A Potters goodie bag will be given to the children’s winner and the adults prize will be a dinner for two at Black Rock restaurant.
Other things to get stuck into at the fete are vintage vehicles, food and drink outlets, arena acts, children’s rides, donkeys and more.
Gorleston Football Club will have an arena for children to learn skills, competitions and coaching.
There’s also a raffle, and the prize is a weekend for two at the five star Potters Resort.
