A SPECIAL family funday will be held for residents of Magdalen, Elmhurst Court and Shrublands in Gorleston, but it's open to all.The event, organised by MESH, the neighbourhood management programme, is at Shrublands Youth and Adult Centre on Magdalen Way from 11am to 3pm on Sunday, August 29.
A SPECIAL family funday will be held for residents of Magdalen, Elmhurst Court and Shrublands in Gorleston, but it's open to all.
The event, organised by MESH, the neighbourhood management programme, is at Shrublands Youth and Adult Centre on Magdalen Way from 11am to 3pm on Sunday, August 29.
Activities include a treasure hunt, face-painting, bushtucker trial, basketball and a tombola.
Entertainment will include performances from the Eastern Spirit Show Corps, 11.30am; Dusmagrik theatre company, 12.30pm; Gorleston Community Choir, 1.30pm and Jankie D's, 2.30pm.
Refreshments will be provided by the Arthritis Club and The Bridge Project.
Community groups, organisations and agencies will also be represented.
