Gorleston Community Choir will be performing a concert at The Salvation Army, Tolhouse Street (near the library) in Great Yarmouth on Saturday at 7pm.This is the second in a Spring concert series to be given by the choir which now has over 90 members and has recently recorded its first CD, Songs for Everyone.

Gorleston Community Choir will be performing a concert at The Salvation Army, Tolhouse Street (near the library) in Great Yarmouth on Saturday at 7pm.

This is the second in a Spring concert series to be given by the choir which now has over 90 members and has recently recorded its first CD, Songs for Everyone. The choir will be singing classical and popular works from Holst and Faure to the Mamas and Papas and Barry Manilow.

The concert will also feature local opera singer Hannah Long. Hannah won Norfolk Young Musician of the Year in 2003 and is currently studying for a Masters degree in music at the Guildhall School of Music in London. She will be performing three solo pieces by Samuel Barber, Jules Massenet and Richard Strauss.

Entrance is �3 at the door and children under 16 are free.
