FANS of the 50s and 60s could be in for a treat when the show Forever in Blue Jeans takes place at the Pavilion Theatre in Gorleston on September 18.

The show, starting at 7.45pm, will feature rock favourites from Jerry Lee Lewis, Brenda Lee, The Beatles and The Monkeys.

The production will celebrate 50 years of Motown which takes in hits from The Four Tops, The Jackson Five, Diana Ross and a host of other Motown favourites.

The Carpenters, Showaddywaddy and Abba bring the show into the 70s and just in case there are any cowboys out there, there will be a trip into the silver screen with Oklahoma and those Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

A tribute will be paid to Burt Bacharach, including his many number one hits I'll Never Fall In Love Again, What The World Needs Now (Is Love Sweet Love), Do You Know The Way To San Jose and the memorable What's New Pussycat.

The show ends with everyone invited to the party for the grand finale.

The energetic company is led by TV and radio recording artistes Carole Gordon and Bob Newman.

The pair have toured with both Tammy Wynette and Boxcar Willie and been voted top British duo by the British Country Music Association for three consecutive years.

l Tickets can be bought from the Theatre's box office by callling 01493 662832.
