A Red Arrows simulator is one of the extra attractions along the Golden Mile set up specially for the air show, along with an array of food, drink, craft, gift and charity outlets.

Four special pop-up beach bars will be operating between the two piers, enabling visitors to enjoy a drink while watching the action in the sky above.

There will be more than 40 stalls selling refreshments including German sausages, Chinese street food, German beers, ice cream, burgers, pies, fish and chips, sandwiches and wraps, sweets, carvery, donuts, churros and coffee.

There are also handicrafts, gifts, toys, air experience flights and displays by air show sponsors and the military.

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will have a publicity stall and there is a fundraising stand for restoring a Lancaster bomber.

Flight simulators – giving visitors a flavour of the twists and turns of being in a fast jet - include the Red Arrows, whose official merchandise stall will also be present.

At Gorleston cliffs there are stalls with coffee, cakes, burgers, fish and chips and ice cream vans.

Show director Asa Morrison says that while there are many food outlets along the seafront, stalls are being added for the air show to cope with extra demand during the two days of the event.

“The flying is from 1pm to 5pm each day, but visitors will also be able to enjoy strolling around the seafront and town to eat, drink and visit the stalls,” he adds.
