WAYWARD girls desperately seeking an older someone to keep them in line have finally found their man.
After a long search, The 30-strong all-female cast of women's prison musical Bad Girls have chosen local actor Chris Darnell to play nasty prison offer Jim Fenner.
Chris, whose association with theatre companies in Gorleston, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft goes back many years, including playing Barnum at Great Yarmouth's Hippodrome, has started to rehearse with the girls for the three-night run starting on June 17 at the Hippodrome.
The show is big end-of-year production for second year BTEC National Diploma performing arts students from Great Yarmouth College before they leave college for university or the workplace.
It is the fourth annual show the college has staged at the Hippodrome after We Will Rock You, Disco Inferno and last year's Area 51.
A spokesperson for the show said: “We're delighted that Chris has found the time to join the production. He is a very experienced and respected actor and we are very lucky.”
