THE Estelle Dancers are preparing for their final rehearsal for the Hippodrome Circus’s Christmas Spectacular which opens tomorrow.

Choreographer and teacher Estelle Clifton trains and teaches pupils all year round culminating in performances during the Christmas spectacular show which continues until January 3.

This year sees the return of the daredevil Globe of Death bikers from Bulgaria – the huge steel cage features motorbike riders who perform hair-raising stunts that look impossibly dangerous.

Host Jack Jay and comedian Johnny Mac are doing the Christmas season, the first Yuletide outing for the duo.

Peter Jay said: “The Christmas Spectacular will be our biggest and most sensational presentation ever, together with big Christmassy numbers with over 50 people – aerialists, dancers, swimmers, acrobats and more.”

Tickets for the Christmas Spectacular can be booked online at www.hippodromecircus.co.uk or via the box office on 01493 844172. Prices: adults �17.50, �16, �15, �14, �12.50 and �11; children under 14 �11 stalls and dress circle, �10 top circle. OAPs pay �13 in all seats.

A family ticket of �5 off for two adults and two children is available for all 5.30pm and 6.30pm shows. Tickets also available from the Tourist Information Centre, Marine Parade, Great Yarmouth.

Shows are Monday to Saturday at 2.30pm and 6.30pm, and Sundays 1.30pm and 5.30pm). There is also a special New Year’s Eve Gala Show at 8pm.
