TWO basketball players have organised a tournament at Gorleston Cliff Top Festival to inspire others to take up the game.
Friends Patrick Manifold and James Borg put together the Gala Basketball Trophy competition and coaching session as part of the festival sports day.
Taking place next Saturday, it is one of several sports taster sessions on offer along with beach volleyball, gymnastics, karate and football.
Places are still available for teams to take part in the three-a-side games by registering online at www.clifftopbasketball.yolasite.com.
A children's coaching session starts 11.30am, tournament registration at noon, with games from 12.30pm to 4pm.
Manifold, who grew up in Gorleston, is set to take up a prestigious sports scholarship in the USA next month.
