INSPIRED by the Later with Jools Holland format The Room makes a comeback with a top line-up of seven acts tonight.

Organiser Howard Marshall said multiple acts across four stages included both firm favourites and new acts.

On stage one and making their debut is the Buster James Band with more than twenty years performing high energy rock based music. Playing original music and covers they will kick off the night as well as bring the evening’s live music to a finale.

On stage two with a whole new line-up are The Doggett Brothers whose brand of slick soul and funk grooves are said to bring another edge to the night. Their single Azure Sky has been described by the Blues and Soul magazine as “a colossus of a jazz funk tune”.

On stage three making a triumphant return are firm favourites Rivers. Their fans will be treated to many of their self-penned tracks as well as a few classic covers they have made their own.

And on stage four melodic indie based band Llewelyn have added Rebecca on vocals to compliment Paul Johnson’s lead vocal. In addition to the four main bands three acoustic acts will add to the eclectic mix. Duo Frost and Mudd from Norwich mix their guitar and cello acoustics with sweet vocal melodies; local folk duo Ben and Shaun The Lorebreakers bring a selection of their uplifting Irish and traditional folk songs, and Miss Lisa Ambrose, who has supported legendary producer Mark Ronson and is currently No14 in the Tunebreaker Download chart with her cover of the classic Gingerbread Man is set to amaze.

The Room is tonight at the Ocean Room in Gorleston. Admission 5, doors open at 8.30pm with the show starting at 9.30pm. Visit www.theroomisback.co.uk
