Following on from the huge success of last year's show, The Asylum, the Circus of Horrors has had a major revamp and is back rocking and shocking with a brand new show The Day of the Dead, at the Hippodrome Circus on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th March 5 and 6.

Set in Mexico during the early 1900's, the cast of chaosmongers transport the body of their doyen Dr Haze to a remote area of Mexico. Unbeknown to them they settled in a former burial ground of Aztec Warriors. There they join the local inhabitants 'Day of the Dead' rituals to try and revive their esteemed leader. All of course with disastrous consequences!

Set against the backdrop of an old ruined Aztec Temple, Witch-doctors, Voodoo Acrobats, Pickled People, Bendy Bodies, Demon Dwarfs, and flying chained Vampires erupting from tanks of blood to perform their amazing Blood Curdling stunts.

The Circus of Horrors made its debut at the 1995 Glastonbury Festival after Dr Haze and Gerry Cottle saw a gap in the market for an alternative rock 'n' roll circus after the demise of Archaos. They have performed their show - full of chainsaws, coffins, pickled people, sword swallowers, voodoo acrobats, freaks and sensations - all over the world and have appeared on numerous TV shows on both sides of the Atlantic.

The show prices are Friday: 1st 3 rows 22, up to F row 18, G + 14 adults, with 3 off for concessions; Saturday: 1st 3 rows 18, to F row 16, G + 14 adults, with 3 off concessions.
