The 37 year old songstress who won BBC-TV's The One and Only has recently returned from sell-out performances at Las Vegas when the music of Dusty is still very popular. She said her interest in music started when she was very young.
She said: "I was a little girl when I started to mimic the vocalists I heard on the radio and on record. I was very interested in Cher and Tina Turner but Dusty was always the favourite."
In 2000 Katy joined Trevor Payne's touring stage show That'll Be The Day as Dusty.
She said: “Later I ventured on the TV show The One and Only and made it to the final. It was a great experience.” Her prize was the three month contract in Ls Vegas. She added that she was looking forward to appearing in Great Yarmouth.
She said: "I was there in the early 90s with Jim Davidson and thoroughly enjoyed it, so it will be good to come back again."
