Singer/songwriter Melissa Hubert will be in concert at Reedham Village Hall on Saturday December 12, 4pm.

Melissa is based in Brighton, and began song-writing at the age of 19 following the sudden and tragic death of her younger brother Declan.

Her debut song, Voice in the Choir, was inspired by the extraordinary events surrounding his passing. Melissa later collaborated with producer Mike Sandeman (long-time Phatfish keyboard player) and launched her first album, Beyond The Frame in 2012.

After taking a break to complete her music degree at Sussex University, Melissa burst back to the music scene with a fresh new album, Jericho.

Concert organiser Rachel James from Reedham Family Church said: “We want to put on an event to reach out to our local community and are really excited about Melissa and her team coming to us in December. Melissa’s music has that perfect blend of classical style with a contemporary edge, and we are sure everyone who comes will enjoy the concert immensely.”

Melissa will be performing a selection of outstanding songs of faith and Christmas celebration at Reedham Family Church, Reedham Village Hall, Pottles Lane.

Doors open 3.30pm. Tickets £3 each via 07774949364 or email reedhamfamilychurch@gmail.com.
