l ROCK ’n’roll three piece The Revolves have a gig at the Duke of Wellington in Great Yarmouth tomorrow. They will be playing covers from the ’50s and ’60s by artists such as Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Eddie Cochran, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Buddy Holly and The Beatles.

l THE California Tavern are putting on two nights packed with music and entertainment this weekend.

Tonight, The Lee Vasey Band will be performing, and those interested are advised to come early to avoid disappointment.

During the last 24 years, as well as writing, arranging and recording his own material, Lee Vasey has worked with Chris Rea, Norman Wisdom and Jimmy Ruffin among others. His 10-piece band promise “to get everyone moving”.

The following night, Boulevard Blonde will be playing something for everyone, including classics that range from I Love Rock and Roll through to Brown Sugar and Jolene. From 8.45pm both nights, free entry.

l THE White Hart pub at Hopton will be hosting a country music event at the pub on February 19, starting at 8pm.

Singer-songwriter Mick Green is organising the evening when there will be a small dance floor so revellers can dance, listen or sing along to country hits including Country Rocks, Country Comedy, In My Own Write and You Call It.

There will also be a two meals for �10 on offer at the pub between 6pm and 8pm on the night.
