St George’s Theatre in Great Yarmouth has recently installed a six-metre cinema screen and is gearing up to show live screenings and encores over the following months from the National Theatre, Royal Opera House and Royal Shakespeare Company.
It all starts on January 22 with a National Theatre Live screening of Treasure Island, followed by Andrea Chenier, Loves Labour’s Lost, and Romeo and Juliet.
St George’s Theatre is now 300 years old and has recently been refurbished, and is the perfect setting for one of these live screening events. For more information, visit www.stgeorgestheatre.com or call the box office on 01493 331484.
Theatregoers can also enjoy a drink before the screening in the nearby pavilion cafe and bar that opens one hour before every show.
