THE Chorus of St Cecilia is presenting a spectacular Summer Concert with over 90 performers at St Nicholas' Church, Great Yarmouth, on Saturday, July 18 at 7.
THE Chorus of St Cecilia is presenting a spectacular Summer Concert with over 90 performers at St Nicholas' Church, Great Yarmouth, on Saturday, July 18 at 7.30pm.
The choir will be joined by Great Yarmouth Brass who will be performing popular band arrangements.
Guest soloists will be soprano Hannah Long, from the Guildhall School of Music, London and international tenor Nicholas Ransley. He captured the audience in last year's Summer Concert with his amazing performance and has been booked again by huge popular demand. He will be performing popular songs, from La Traviata and Showboat.
The concert will be conducted by Matthew Hardy and Stuart Philpot with John Stephens at the piano. Also performing will be the highly popular Junior Singers and they will perform Ave Maria, three Hungarian folk songs and join the full choir and band in music from Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Phantom of the Opera.
Tickets are �10 and concessions �8.50, from Allen's Music Centre, Yarmouth and The Dance Shop, High Street, Gorleston.
