showtime: THE Northgate Showtimers, are set to perform at the Newtown Methodist Church, Caister Road, Great Yarmouth, on Saturday, April 9 at 2.30pm. The proceeds will go towards the restoration of the church clock which was put up in 1927 and was donated by Aldred and Son. The church has already raised �2,000 but the restoration cost is around �7,000. The show will feature songs, music, poetry and a sing-a-long and there will also be a grand raffle. Doors open at 2.15pm for a 2.30pm start.
