LEGENDS of seventies rock, Wishbone Ash featuring Martin Turner, Dutch band Focus and the Groundhogs will be appearing at the Waterfront, Norwich on Wednesday October 1. These were three bands who spearheaded the movement to progressive rock throughout the 1970s. Focus had a second run at fame when the band's House of the King was used as TV theme for an unusual mix of science and botany with David Bellamy. Subsequently the track was reissued as the B-side to their massive world-wide hit Sylvia. Wishbone Ash and the Groundhogs were regular guests on John Peel's programmes on Radio One and BBC-2-TV's Old Grey Whistle Test.
