PLEASUREWOOD Hills at Corton is celebrating 25 years of bringing smiles and screams to the faces of visitors to the park with a spectacular season of special events and shows in 2008.

To kick start the celebrations the park is holding a special Birthday and Anniversary Weekend tomorrow and Sunday where anyone who has their 25th Birthday or 25th Anniversary in 2008 will get free entry into the park.

Since first opening in 1983, the theme park has welcomed over eight and a half million visitors and it is hoped that by the end of the season the total will touch the nine million mark.

Yves Delhommeau, park director at Pleasurewood Hills, said: “This is a really exciting year for us as well as the Lowestoft area. We are really proud to have been part of the local community for 25 years and have laid on some special events so that everyone could join in the celebrations.
