Think Please Sir, or The Inbetweeners (without the language!) and the stage is set for The Reunion, a musical being produced by Gorleston Theatre Company at the Pavilion Theatre
The show is on from October 24-26, and last year it won a major national award.
The Reunion was written by local duo Ian Cook and Ian Newton for Waveney Light Opera Group in Beccles and is now released for amateur societies. It allows actors to play their teenage selves in Act 1 and their more mature personas in Act 2 with all the laughs, loves, and poignant moments that involves!
And more people are wanted to join the cast and be part of this fun show.
Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings and some Sunday mornings plus of course the week of the show. Some singing experience would be a bonus as would be the ability to regress to those hedonistic days of the class of 1976 (age no object).
For more details, visit the Gorleston Theatre Company’s web site or Facebook page, or call the director on 07786 620622).
A unique feature of the show is it will be presented with the opportunity for groups to organise their own reunions and receive a free drink in the bar on the opening night if booked as a group of six or more.
Give the box office the group identity when booking at the box office on 01493 662832.
