VISITORS and residents of Great Yarmouth are in for a music extravaganza this weekend with a two-day Band Factor event on the seafront.
More than a dozen bands and musical performers of all genres will be performing at three venues up and down the seafront, giving a vibrant and lively musical air to traditional Yarmouth seaside fun.
Starting at the north end of the seafront at Anchor Plaza, everything from pop to rock 'n' roll, salsa and blues will be performed on stage near the Joyland Diner.
At the Jetty, in the middle of Marine Parade, visitors can enjoy a huge variety of music and performance, from clog dancers to a singer-songwriter and a jazz trio.
And, surrounded by deckchairs in which to sit back and relax, the marquee on Sea Life Centre Gardens plays hosts to the Gorleston Community Choir, local performance group Dusmagrik, shanty singers, a street dance workshop and a traditional brass band to finish off every
day.
In St George's Park, SeaChange Arts is also hosting an event for the weekend as part of The Band Factor.
