After time spent trudging the roads elsewhere, Dick Whittington returns to Gorleston Pavilion, the Edwardian gem of a theatre.

The last time he was on stage here Dick got into a spot of bother, accused of stealing. But thanks to Tommy, his faithful black cat, his story had a happy ending. Tommy lived on to a good age, eventually retiring to the great cattery in the sky.

Dick needed another feline companion, and he found one, a handsome ginger fellow who also happens to be called Tommy.

The boys and girls of Gorleston - and the grown-ups too - can share the adventures of Dick Whittington and the amazing Tommy in this year’s family pantomime, with splendid scenery, dazzling costumes, sizzling songs, and radiant romance.

And to make the magic work, Helen McDermott as the Good Fairy keeps her wand handy. Purrrrrrfect! Oh, yes it is!

The show opens on December 9 and runs until January 2 at the Pavilion Theatre, Gorleston.
