There will be a Whole Lotta Shakin’ going on at St George’s Theatre in Great Yarmouth for one night only next month.

This brand new touring show, is a tribute to the 1980s answer to Elvis, with Rebel Dean performing all the hits of Shakin’ Stevens. Expect all the hits - This Ole House, Green Door, Oh Julie... and more.

Starring Rebel is no stranger to the stage or small screen, with credits in Casualty, the West End, and London Palladium, and brings a live band.

The first half follows the steps to stardom of the young Welshman, narrated on-screen by his first manager Paul Barratt.

The second half is a full concert (including the famous denims and pink jacket.

Rebel said: “I first wrote the show back in 1998 when I was starring in the West End for the legendary producer Bill Kenwright in the successful musical Four Steps to Heaven. I was about to star as Elvis in Elvis the Musical.”

Rebel met Shakin’ Stevens in 2000 and it fuelled his tribute idea. Skain’ Stevens had more hits in the 80’s decade than any other artist in the UK, approaching 40 top 40 hits.
