A GORLESTON businessman is hosting a performance by one of the world's greatest drummers next month.
Toto drummer Simon Philips will be showcasing his skills at the Waterfront, Norwich on Monday, July 13.
Anglia Drum Centre owner Jason Keyte arranged the show - one of just three UK appearances this year by the acclaimed musician.
Philips is renowned for applying a precision and intensity across a range of musical styles to his drumming, which never lacks emotion or feel.
In an illustrious career he has toured with a host of bands and artists including Mick Jagger, The Who, Roxy Music, Robert Palmer and Dave Gilmour.
Jason said: “I was really pleased to secure the clinic with Simon as East Anglia is often overlooked when it comes to these types of events.
