RESIDENTS and holidaymakers are being challenged to come up with the best sandcastle or sculpture - and there's a free holiday at stake!
The sandcastle competition is on Sunday, June 7 on Central Beach, Great Yarmouth next to the Britannia Pier. Starting at 10am, sculptors have five hours to create a sandy masterpiece based on whatever theme they would like, with entertainment also provided on Anchor Plaza.
At 3pm, the sculptures will be judged and prizes handed out, with the top prize being a family holiday at a Haven Holiday park. Previous masterpieces have included Winnie the Pooh and a flip flop complete with foot!
