SING to the Rhythm, an evening of internationally inspired songs and music from around the world, is to be performed by more than 300 pupils from schools in Great Yarmouth at the Hippodrome Circus on Friday, March 20.

SING to the Rhythm, an evening of internationally inspired songs and music from around the world, is to be performed by more than 300 pupils from schools in Great Yarmouth at the Hippodrome Circus on Friday, March 20.

SeaChange Arts and the Great Yarmouth Schools Music Association are jointly presenting the concert. Pupils and teachers drawn from 12 local schools have been working intensively over the last two weeks to rehearse songs and music, supported by three nationally renowned musicians. They are local practitioner Sian Croose, South African percussionist and composer Eugene Skeef and native Bulgarian singer Dessislava Stefanova.

The evening will include songs and music from Bulgaria and South Africa. Instrumental pieces will be played by Lynn Grove Orchestra and Flegg High School community wind band, both of which include members of the local community and school pupils.

The performance itself will start at 7.30pm and last for approximately one and a half hours.
