Rain is forecast for the east coast, but for once it's good news as the hit musical Singin' In The Rain visits Lowestoft in spectacular coup for the town's Marina Theatre.

Recreating all the style and spectacle of Hollywood's golden age, Singin' in the Rain features a host of some of the best loved comedy routines, dance numbers and songs.

The national tour will play a five day run at the Marina from today.

Olivier award winning West End and Broadway star Tim Flavin leads the cast as Don Lockwood in the role immortalised by Gene Kelly.

Produced by the team behind hit shows 42nd Street, Disney's Beauty and the Beast and South Pacific this brand new production features a host of hit songs including Good Morning, Make 'em Laugh, Moses Supposes, You Were Meant For Me and, of course, the most famous song and dance number of all time, Singin' in the Rain.

The show will also see the return of a popular actress, Jessica Punch who wowed thousands of people at Christmas playing Peter Pan in the town's first major pantomime in half a century.

Tickets for Singin' In The Rain, which runs nightly at 7.30 from Tuesday to Saturday with matinees on Wednesday and Saturday at 2.30pm, are available from the Box Office on 01502 533200.
