From big names with an international reputation to emerging artists building a following, an exhibition in Great Yarmouth is showcasing vibrant local talent.
Skippings & Co is being staged at Skippings Gallery, at 133 King Street.
As well as bringing together local talent it is also helping to revive interest in the historic thoroughfare, rich in architectural gems.
The exhibition spotlights a variety of artists as well as the unique gallery space created from a redundant listed building by Great Yarmouth Preservation Trust.
It is set to open on Saturday (March 10) and art lovers can visit daily from 10am to 4pm until Friday March 16.
A private view has been organised for the evening of Friday March 9.
Exhibiting artists include Genevieve Rudd, Bridget Heriz, Jason Parr, Daniel McGrath, Emrys Parry, John Kiki, Mark Cator, Bruer Tidman, Ivan Mendivan, Katarzyna Coleman, Darren Barker, Peter Rodulfo, Martin Battye and Jack Crampton.
The exhibition is described as bringing together a diverse range of styles and themes of artists from the Great Yarmouth area.
A spokesman said: “The overwhelming spirit of the exhibition is one of vibrancy which echoes the spirit of the town.”
Skippings Gallery is owned and managed by Great Yarmouth Preservation Trust a charity working to preserve, safeguard and promote the culture and heritage of the resort.

“We very much hope many more artists will take up the opportunity to exhibit in the gallery.”
The contemporary gallery takes its name from the shop that stood empty on the site for 15 years before the refurbishment.
Skippings was on the council’s buildings at risk register, and was little altered since the 18th century.
The gallery is available for hire to artists and art organisations at “reasonable and negotiable” rates for exhibition and workshop space.
