THE Grange Hotel at Ormesby is a stop-off point during a record-breaking tour by lounge and swing artist Frankie Martin.
Martin's Great British Pub tour drops in on Friday, and then he's off again, undertaking a hectic schedule that will see him playing
at least one show a day, every
day, for a year and a day to raise money for the Help for Heroes charity.
The tour started on April 19 at RAF Nocton Hall military hospital near Lincoln and will end in Frankie's home town of Kimberley, Nottinghamshire. He entertains with the unforgettable songs of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole and more.
“This is my most exciting and important tour ever,” he says. “The Great British Pub raises more money for charity than anyone realises.
“I want to help celebrate that fact and do what I can for the many brave service personnel who have stood firm, stood proud and done their duty whatever the cost.”
