St Cecilia is Back in Gorleston

AFTER the great success with Broadway Favourites at the Pavilion Theatre in March 2009 and the Summer Concert last July the Chorus of St Cecilia is presenting Broadway Hits! at the Pavilion Theatre, Gorleston.

AFTER the great success with Broadway Favourites at the Pavilion Theatre in March 2009 and the Summer Concert last July the Chorus of St Cecilia is presenting Broadway Hits! at the Pavilion Theatre, Gorleston.

There will be hit songs and music from some of the most popular shows ever written, including: My Fair Lady, Chicago, Showboat, Oliver! Les Miserables, Phantom Of The Opera.

The choir will be conducted by Musical Director Matthew Hardy with John Stephens at the grand piano.

Guest soloists will be Neil Francis, a great local entertainer, who recently appeared in The Lowestoft Players production of Chess as well and Judi Mars, who has appeared in many London West End shows and concerts.

Kirsty Lewis, a long standing member of the choir, is back from her appointment as Mary Poppins in Disney Land USA.

Also performing will be the highly popular Junior Singers and the show will be presented from Thursday to Saturday, March 18 to 20, at 7.45pm.
