Comedy legend Sean Hughes is bringing his latest stand up show to Great Yarmouth after extending his nationwide tour.

The multi-talented funnyman - well known for his long stint as team captain on Never Mind the Buzzcocks and starring in cult TV favourite Sean’s Show - is coming to St George’s Theatre in May, as part of his Life Becomes Noises tour.

The show is a hilarious yet poignant tale that gives an insight into the lighter side of dying and getting older, going to places that comedy rarely goes.

Sean has been dealing with his father’s death - in a way only he can - and makes a triumphant return to the stage with Life Becomes Noises.

As well as various TV and radio credits to his name, Sean has written two collections of prose and poetry and two best-selling novels, and been awarded for his short plays ‘Dehydrated’ and ‘Travellin’ Light’.

He was also recently voted no. 40 in Channel 4’s poll of the world’s 100 greatest comedians.

Life Becomes Noises is coming to St George’s on May 18. For tickets call 01493 331 484.
