The Chorus of St Cecilia is once again busy preparing and rehearsing for its Summer Concerts! 2016.
The concerts are at the Minster, Great Yarmouth on Wednesday, June 29, at 7.30pm and at Winterton Church on Friday, July 15 at 7.30pm.
The Chorus, under musical director Matthew Hardy, with Chris Whiting at the piano, is preparing a programme of varied music from spirituals to music by Rachmaninoff, Elgar and John Rutter as well as popular hit musicals, Phantom of the Opera, Blood Brothers, Martin Guerre and Les Miserables.
The full choir will be joined by the junior chorus who will be performing songs from Oliver and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Guest soloists will be Charlotte Durrant, Sam Street, Hannah Hall and Philip Pearson.
