The Sunrise Dowsers of Hopton are holding a medieval fayre on Hopton First School’s playing field adjacent to St Margaret’s Church ruins, on the Coast Road.

The event is on Sunday, August 30 from 11am to 5pm and will be opened by Great Yarmouth Mayor Cllr Shirley Weymouth.

The fayre will feature reiki taster sessions, tarot reading, palmistry, handmade jewellery, handmade cards, fish and chips, burgers, sausages, tea and coffee, cold drinks, cold drinks pool, children’s toys, plant sales, tombola, dowsing demos and have a go, home and space healing, Mary’s reiki pillows, rune readings, face painting and tattoos, Templar Knights, Norfolk Wild Encounters and their birds of prey and lots more.

Proceeds from the fayre will be divided between Great Yarmouth Preservation Trust, for use on the Ruins project, and the organisers, Sunrise Dowsing Group.

Organisers say sorry, but no dogs are allowed.
