A SIZZLING summer season of entertainment has been lined up at Britannia Pier Theatre, featuring a host of acts including comedians Jimmy Carr and Jim Davidson.

The curtain goes up on June 25 with the return rapier of Jimmy Carr who has won legions of fans with his quick-fire deadpan humour.

Jim Davidson needs no introduction to Great Yarmouth audiences and the comedian is back with what is being billed his most outrageous show yet - If I Ruled the World on July 27, and super crooner Des O'Connor is on the bill in August, just as he used to be in the heydays of the resort.

To Me, To You - the much loved Chuckle Brothers are celebrating 25 years on stage with their usual crazy slapstick in August.

In the Chinese Year of the Tiger Joe Pasquale is back at the Britannia in August.

The entertainment will continue throughout the summer until the end of September.
