On Good Friday, March 25, watch out as a herd of swashbuckling pirates from across the globe arrive at Great Yarmouth to prepare for an attack on the port!

The action is part of the Hippodrome’s brand new Easter Pirates water show runs until Sunday, April 17.

Captain Hawskeye, played by Jack Jay, returns to the port of Great Yarmouth to seek his ultimate revenge with his rebellious crew at his side. Defending the port is Pirate Johnny, played by Johnny Mac, who is appealing to people to “Come down and help save our town!”

Chaos and much laughter are created along the way in the family blockbuster specially created for the unique Hippodrome water spectacle in a movie-style set. The massive 40ft galleon made by 3d creations, who made parts of the set for Pirates of the Caribbean, is the centrepiece to the skullduggery.

Adults and children are encouraged to along dressed as pirates - it will make a great family photo or selfie at the end of the show when everyone has a chance to meet Jack and Johnny, they will love the motley crew of pirates, fire eaters, acrobats, aerialists and even mermaids!

Shows are daily at 2.30pm and 6.30pm with three at 1pm, 4pm and 7.30pm on Easter Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are: adults £15-£20.50, OAPs £15-£16, children: £10-£11. Family tickets are also available.
