Local indie band The Anyones have been chosen to perform at the upcoming Ray Quinn concert at St George’s Theatre.
The band, which is made up of Liam Lonergan, Faisal Al Yousef and Harry Wickham, were chosen by the former X Factor finalist and his management team to join him on the bill.
The group was formed by lead guitarist and singer Liam and rhythm guitarist Faisal, who at the time were students and Great Yarmouth College and East Norfolk Sixth form colleges respectively, with Harry joining the band in 2013 as their drummer.
The group have gone on to perform at various venues in the area along with having their songs, many of which they write themselves played on local radio stations such as Radio Norfolk and Future Radio.
They have been compared to The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Beach Boys. Their sound is focused around harmonies and bringing an old sound to the modern generation.
The Anyones will be joining Ray at St George’s Theatre on Friday, October 23 at 7:30pm. Tickets for the event cost £21.50 and are available to buy through the website at www.stgeorgestheatre.com, or in person at the theatre’s box office.
