THERE is just two weeks left before Rick Wakeman, who revels in his new title of Grumpy Old Man, appears at the Ocean Room, Gorleston.
The top rock singer is scheduled to appear on Saturday November 1 in aid of the East Coast Palliative Care Appeal. The major event is being organised by Great Yarmouth Haven Rotary Club.
Spokesman Ian McCreadie said: “There is still time to book a ticket. Rick would normally charge £12,000 for an appearance but we have managed to negotiate a much lower figure and all of the evening's funds will go to the appeal, so we hope people will come along for a fabulous evening and help East Coast Palliative Care Appeal.”
