CIRCUS of Horrors is back with a brand new show The Day of the Dead at the Hippodrome Circus next Friday and Saturday (March 5 - 6).
Set in Mexico during the early 1900s, the cast of chaos mongers transport the body of their doyen Dr Haze to a remote area of Mexico.
Unbeknown to them they settled in a former burial ground of Aztec warriors. There they join the local inhabitants Day of the Dead rituals to try and revive their esteemed leader- with disastrous consequences.
The Circus of Horrors debuted at the 1995 Glastonbury Festival after Dr Haze and Gerry Cottle saw a gap in the market for an alternative rock 'n' roll circus.
Full of chainsaws, coffins, pickled people, sword swallowers, voodoo acrobats, freaks and sensations, the show has been performed all over the world.
