Local rock and pop band The Uninvited return to live action on Saturday, April 23, at the Green Gate in Caister. This is the band’s first live appearance in 18 months.

During this time they have gained a new bass player in Tim Chettleburgh and also introduced a whole range of new songs.

The Uninvited hit the local music scene in 2013, but are made up of experienced musicians from the area. They play classic and modern music from the Sixties to now, embracing rock, pop, country rock, and R&B.

The band’s line up is: Nicky Rushton – lead vocals and acoustic guitar (ex Thieving Gypsies and Sliver); Sue McNeil – harmony and backing vocals (ex Thieving Gypsies and The Disciples); John Dallimore – lead guitar and backing vocals (ex Bazooka Joe); Tim Chettleburgh – bass and vocals (ex The Glamtastics); and Kevin Hunt – drums (ex Runestaff, Thieving Gypsies, and Sliver).

For the Green Gate show, it is also St George’s Day, so there should be a special party atmosphere. The band will be on Stage around 9pm. Admission is free to the family friendly venue.

Drummer Kevin said: “We are really looking forward to getting back and playing live again as it has been a really long time. This is our first show in preparation for some charity and festival appearances in the summer. Our aim is to have a great time and the St George’s Day theme and party should create a special atmosphere and hopefully inspire the audience to have a good time.”
