Now open for the summer season in a small street behind the seaside seafront in Great Yarmouth lies the amazing Hippodrome building that stages unbelievable things in the Opera House-style auditorium of a bygone age.
Classic flying trapeze artistes fly through the air with the greatest of ease, the world’s best juggler blows ping pong balls high in the air, beautiful girls swim in an amazing pool with huge fountains that have appeared in front of your eyes, as if by magic, hilarious jokes are performed, handsome Italians perform mind bending acrobatic feats of strength, Russian swing acrobats twirl and somersault ridiculously high in the air.
It’s a unique, fun, mind-bending two hours in Britain’s best showbiz and circus arena, an iconic treasure of Norfolk.
