Celebrating four years of fundraising for charities with local connections, a special Tia’s Treasures Family Fun Day is planned.

The event is on May 9 at the Cliff Hotel in Gorleston, and will specifically raise funds for Great Yarmouth and Waveney Mind in memory of Donna Carrigan, who died in 2012.

There will be entertainment by Manta Entertainments, photography by Sarah Hartley Photography, and a Meet and Greet the Mascots such as Bumble Bee and Optimus Prime Transformers from Hero Hire, a Frozen Anna, Elsa, Sven and Olaf tribute act from Fairy Tale Party Packages and not forgetting the Tia’s Treasures Monkey.

There will also be a Punch and Judy Show, raffle with lots of prizes donated by various local businesses, a tombola, competitions, fun and games, and various craft stalls including Tia’s Treasures handmade jewellery and the chance for people to create their own sand picture/sculpture.

And… dependent on the finals/semi finals, a visit from Britain’s Got Talent local star Jeffrey Drayton and puppet Chantel, who will be signing autographs for a donation.

There is a suggested donation of £1.50 for children, which includes entry into a competition to win a free party from Manta Entertainments.

In preparation for the fun day extravaganza, Tia, 10 and brothers Alex, 11, Adam, 6, and Jamie, 5, have been busy distributing flyers for the event as well as making lots of new treasures.
