TURN your hair blue for charity, that's the call to help raise funds for Big C, Norfolk and Waveney's own cancer charity.
Marketing and communications manager for Big C, Sharon Hulbert, said: “We have had an excellent response to our Beard and Moustache grow in February and thought that we would follow it up with Mad March Hair. We are asking companies to get behind the idea and allow staff for a day, a week or a month, to turn their hair blue for what is a very good cause. Either use a wash-in wash-out colour or wear a blue wig and get sponsored doing it.”
This year Big C has pledged to raise over �1m to improve the lives of local people affected by cancer, money which will be spent on equipment for our hospitals, on funding the Big C Centre at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and for world-class research at the University of East Anglia.
